When I was a kid, Edward Scissorhands and Cinderalla (the evil bitch locked Cinderella in the attic!) I was actually surprised in high school when I found out a few people cried in that same scene when they saw it as a kid.

I got misty eyed during Bridge to Terabithia.

I am not a crier. It's not that I have anything against it, it's just not something I do often, so when a movie can actually make ME shed a tear, I consider it a grand achievement. That being said, weirdly enough, the only movies that have ever succeeded in making me cry were animated films:

Toy Story 3 (the first time I watched it, I was practically bawling from about the last 15 minutes of the film until about 30 minutes after the film ended. )

Up - I defy anyone to not get emotional during the first 15 minutes of that movie. Also the ending is so sweet with the two sitting on the curb eating ice cream I couldn't help but get teary-eyed all over again.

Iron Giant - "Su-per-man. *eyes close*" Me sobbing.

Wall-E - Didn't really make me CRY, but the part near the end where

broke my heart, and almost got me going, but didn't.

Sometimes I think Pixar was created to make adults a weepy, blubbery mess. Anyway, I feel like there has to be at least ONE live action film that made me cry or at least teary-eyed, but I honestly can't think of one.

I got misty-eyed during the climax of Captain America, but that's because I fuckin' loved the movie and was hooked into the characters. I got misty-eyed when Uncle Ben died in Spider-Man, too, but I don't think I've ever cried over a live-action movie.

However, I bawled my eyes out watching the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Offspring." It probably had something to do with the fact my sister had recently died, but that episode GOT ME.

The Crow - I cried during the first two times I saw this in the theater, not because of the movie but because of the death of Brandon Lee. Which is weird because before all that happened I was only vaguely aware of him, but for some reason his death hit me kinda hard.

Oddly enough, i don't think I cried at Old Yeller.

The Notebook, and yes I know it is "chick flick" but it is also a damn good movie and I say if you watch this movie and don't cry then you are a soul less fucking robot. James Garner also reminds me a lot of my grandfather and there is a part near the end where he just loses it and breaks down crying, that shit tears me up every time I see it.

The Green Mile, man when they are getting ready to execute John Coffey and Tom Hanks character comes up and shakes his hand and all the other guards are trying to hold back the tears, fuck man I am crying like a little girl every time I see that movie.

Real Steel, I think being a dad this one hits me in the heart and I cry at times when watching it but more of a good cry than a sad cry.

Remember the Titans, man when that kid dies at the end, shit I can't help but cry every damn time. This is one of my all time favorite movies period and I love that it brings out that kind of emotion in me.
