I am sure most are aware of a time back in the days when we actually enjoyed Adam Sandler movies before they started to suck badly-such as his current ones. Whether or not you happened to be a fan of his, it will be hard to admit that his movies nowadays have been box office duds such as the god-awful Jack & Jill last year and other ones I don't care to mention. Currently he is supposed to be coming out with a new movie this year which I predict will bomb as well based on how creepy the premise is( ie. He plays a guy who had an underage affair with a grown teacher in school and wants to see his now grown-up son. How this got past the planning board is beyond me). Maybe I will be wrong and it might be a box-office smash but I highly doubt it. But as I was saying, does anyone remember when Adam Sandler was actually entertaining and not just a has-been?

I saw him do five minutes on "An Evening at the Improv" (before SNL) that I thought was okay, and "The Wedding Singer" was good, but beyond that... :smt102

Yeah, I did like the Wedding Singer and Happy Gilmore myself. The other ones I don't recall as well.

At least not anymore. Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer & Waterboy were good comedies. The recent ones I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole( Such as Jack & Jill).

Didn't see Jack and Jill, and don't plan to. I'll wait to hear about the new one but the preview did nothing for me. I think the last movie I liked was 50 First Dates.

Yeah, I just remembered that one with Drew Barrymore. That was one of his better films in comparisons to the sucky ones he currently put out.

He makes guilty pleasure movies, some are duds some are make me laugh.

Like that one he made with Aniston last year, I liked that it was funny. Didn't bother with Jack and Jill though.

This upcoming one I'll watch, it looks to be his typical stupid humor.
