An almost perfectly round hole with a 5 inch diameter. I look inside the hole and it just goes down in a circular tunnel. I can't see the bottom! I grab a tape measure and flashlight - it's 4 feet deep and just so, so... round.
Preliminary research says it's no big deal - just fill with sand and top off. Advance research will have me calling a professional tomorrow.
But it's still just so creepy how round it is.
