in a scenario in which Marvel beat Detective comics to the character of Batman, don't u think Matt Murdock would fit the role better?

think about it:-
1- he is blind (one of the characteristics of the bat) and a critical point in the conversation.
2- he depends on sonic waves (radar like) to feel his surroundings (hint at a bat? maybe)
3- he also lost his beloved ones, like Bruce lost his parents.
4- he also works in the night and in one of the darkest crime neighborhoods - hell's kitchen.
5- he is a lawyer, which makes the fact that he fights crime as a knight of justice, have more sense to it.
6- his character is as dark as Bruce, if not more.
7- he is far more agile than Batman, which gives him a point to me, and brings him closer to the simulation of a flight of a bat.

in my opinion Daredevil woul've been the perfect Batman, just give his suit to Matt Murdock, and we're set.

Personally, I think Man Bat would be perfect for the role of Bat Man.

no, i'm saying that if we go back to the time Detective comics created Batman, and Marvel beat them at the idea, Daredevil would have been already Batman. maybe even a better one.

He's also a man. Hence the Batman suggestion. Why have a guy who dresses as a bat when you could have a guy who actually is one.

I've always considered Tony Stark to be the Marvel version of Batman

Both Rich
Both playboys
Both public philantropists
Both use gadgets to fight crime

Daredevils gets compared because both his and Batman's current status quo was established by Frank Miller in the 80's (well Daredevil is actually fun now, but prior to Waid it was all Miller), and that they don't really have powers.

I disagree. We'd have a character who wouldn't rely on computers (I doubt he has the dexterity to manage a keyboard), could fly and would actually be feared by criminals instead of a rich playboy who throws money at his psychological issues.

he is more similar, but i'm not talking about similarity, i'm talking about the suggestion of Daredevil actually being Batman. in a different scenario, i see he could fit the role very well, if not better than Bruce Wayne
