NBC's Revolution, from JJ Abrams, Jon Favreau, and Eric Kripke is on its way, and here's a teaser for the upcoming series!

This fall, executive producer JJ Abrams will be slapping his name on bringing us a new character-driven, high-concept, long-running mystery in television series form.  Revolution, which also includes Jon Favreau somewhere in its credits, is created by Eric Kripke, who gave us Supernatural.

As can be seen in the video teaser below, Revolution imagines a world where all the electricity in the world suddenly goes out, and the cause seems to be something much bigger than rolling brownouts.  What follows is a post-apocalyptic world where people shoot at each other with guns and crossbows, and some people are on a search for family.  Somewhere along the way, Giancarlo Esposito shows up to add some awesomeness to the proceedings (and we don't have to hear his terrible Spanish accent, so even better). 

Revolution starts September 17, but watch the teaser below and ponder the implications of leaving the air conditioner on when you're not home.

We saw some of this at SDCC, I thought the show looked pretty interesting.

I've been hyped for this since the upfronts. That like long ass trailer was awesome. I cant wait.
