Chew is coming to the small screen!
Multiple sources are reporting that Showtime has picked up the script based on the Image Comic Chew
. The script, written by Terri Hughes Burton and Ron Milbauer, will be given a once-over before filming the pilot, possibly to downplay the cannibalistic aspects of the comic. Steven Hopkins, whose past credits include episodes of 24 and The Unusuals as well as the movie adaptation of Lost in Space, has been named as the director of the pilot episode. The project is being developed by Circle of Confusion, which also developed the hit series The Walking Dead
