Four Oklahoma players suspended for "violation of team rules."

"Junior receivers Trey Franks and Jaz Reynolds and sophomore wideout Kameel Jackson — along with sophomore defensive back Quentin Hayes — were suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, coach Bob Stoops announced Wednesday night in a news release.
Franks' and Reynolds' suspensions were first reported by OUInsider.com, which said Franks is out for the entire 2012 season and Reynolds for seven games."
The Frank and Reynolds had to have done something pretty big to get banhammered the way they were. Jackson is reportedly seeking to transfer to Texas A&M. This leads a big hole in the Sooners' depth chart for receivers. Oklahoma will probably have to rely on outside receivers Trey Metoyer and Kenny Stills to pick up the slack. Even so, this has to be considered a big setback for the program.
