| Johnny Manziel and some special friends. Yes, that's Lebron James. |
Texas A&M Heisman winning quarterback Johnny Manziel was seen courtside at the Miami Heat-Dallas Mavericks game on Thursday night. As soon as the TNT cameras caught him, the obvious questions about where he got the seats came from.
That was Steve Kerr, ladies and gentlemen, accusing Manziel of NCAA violations without any facts.
Manziel responded to the accusations on Twitter.
Bought myself a little birthday present tonight stop hating! #HEATvsMAVS

For the record, the Manziel family isn't quite dirt poor. The family has interests in oil, gas, and real estate. It owns The Oil Palace, a famous concert and event center in Tyler, Tx. Manziel's maternal grandfather also owns a popular and successful restaurant in Tyler as well. Plus his uncle is a successful Texas men's clothier (and helped dress Manziel for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.)
