Bill O'Brien leaving Penn St. for the NFL?

Written by The Nacireman on Thursday, January 03 2013 and posted in SWRT
Is Penn State head football coach Bill O'Brien one his way out after one year? That's what Jason La Canfora, an "NFL Insider" for CBS Sportsclaimed on a radio station in Cleveland.

"Whoever doesn't get Chip Kelly will certainly be high on Bill O'Brien in the case of the Browns and the Eagles," said La Canfora. "[Syracuse coach] Doug Marrone is a guy these teams are looking at as well. And then you have a whole slew of coordinators who, if something doesn't work out with these college guys or if they decide to stay, then there's directions the Browns can go as well."

A CBS Sports "NFL Insider" might be a notch higher than the average sports radio or internet rumor-monger, but this still goes into the old "The voices in your head don't count as reliable sources" file until further notice.
