NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon paid a visit to Athens, where he helped University of Georgia students provide meals as a part of the UGA Campus Kitchen program. While on campus, he paid a visit to the Bulldogs' athletic facility in the Butts-Meare building.
Gordon gave the team a pep talk as it prepares to face the Clemson Tigers on the road for the season opener. Whether or not a pep talk from the 13th ranked driver in NASCAR is a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen.
