Former Oklahoma State players aren't waiting for the SI.com series to be begin on Tuesday morning to refute its allegations of impropriety inside the Cowboys' football program. Gina Mizell of The Oklahoman spoke to several former players about the SI.com series, who denied they received money, drugs, sex, or anything else described in the article.

Especially vocal on the allegations was former Oklahoma St. linebacker James Thomas, who said of former Cowboys assistant coach Joe DeForest  “If he was actually paying people for making plays, heck, I would have been rich,” and that "“If you look at my stats, I made play after play after play and didn't get anything."

DeForest, now a special teams coordinator at West Virginia, has denied the SI.com allegations.

Former Oklahoma St. cornerback Andrew McGee claimed SI.com's allegations were "bogus" and blamed the story on "guys who didn't make it because they didn't do right."
