Georgia managed to beat Tennessee in overtime 34-31 on Saturday night, with more of that having to do with Tennessee wide receiver Alton "Pig" Howard losing control of the ball before reaching the end zone in overtime than for anything the Bulldogs did on the field.

That came after Georgia blew a 17-3 halftime lead, allowing the Vols to tie it up in the third quarter. Then barely being able to tie the game up in overtime after Tennessee had taken the lead.

Worse for Georgia, the team's injury woes continued as tailback Keith Marshall left the game with a left knee injury, and WRs  Michael Bennett and Justin Scott-Worley did the same. The Dawgs were already with out the services of tailback Todd Gurley due to an sprained ankle against LSU.

This was an ugly game for Georgia, which put the team's remote chances for a shot at the BCS title even further away even in victory. Worse, with the injuries on the roster piling up, the chances of making it the the SEC championship game are on shaky ground as well.
