Computer ranks Missouri no. 1 team in the country, Alabama ranked second.

The latest argument for the Butlerian Jihad comes from the computer-based Massey Ratings system, which names Missouri as the no.1 college football team in the nation above Alabama. The Tide are ranked second, which may be the only logical ranking in this allegedly logic-based system.

The rest of the Massey Ratings top five are Florida State, Clemson, and Oregon. UCLA, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas A&M - which all lost on Saturday - finish out the top ten. Massey ranks undefeated Ohio State is eleventh,

Meanwhile, back in the real world, the USA Today coaches poll, voted upon by mere humans, has Alabama firmly established on top as the number one team in the country. Oregon, Florida St., Ohio St., and Baylor (ranked 16th by Massey) finish out the top five. Missouri is ranked seventh, behind sixth-ranked Miami (Fl.).
