Why jinx one college football team on the hunt for a spot in the BCS title game when you can jinx two of them? Sports Illustrated celebrates the chaos that was the last week of the 2013 college football season with two separate covers for its December 9 issue featuring Auburn cornerback Chris Davis and Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller.
Of course, the Sports Illustrated cover curse is just a myth. It can't possibly doom a team's chances for success just look at how Alabama managed to avoid the curse when starting QB A.J. McCarron was on the cover a couple of weeks ago and...oh yeah, Alabama was the team that Davis and Auburn beat last week. Be afraid Auburn and Ohio St. fans. Be very afraid.
