You can put your misguided hopes and dreams that Jon Gruden will leave Monday Night Football to coach your lowly college football team away for another year. Chucky has told ESPN that he has no interest in perusing a coaching job this year, and will continue in the booth at MNF with Mike Tirico.
According to Gruden, ""There are a lot of good coaches out there available to coach these teams. I'm just hoping ESPN likes the job I'm doing. That's my focus."
At least that's what Gruden is saying now. He could always change his mind if a particularly tempting job comes available. Chucky at Texas or Alabama, anyone?
