And the finalists are...
The SEC sends three finalists to New York City for the Heisman Trophy award ceremony. They are Texas A&M starting quarterback Johnny Manziel, Auburn running back Tre Mason, and Alabama starting QB A.J. McCarron. The other finalists are Northern Illinois starting QB Jordan Lynch, Boston College RB Andre Williams, and Florida State starting QB Jameis Wilson. (ESPN)

In addition to being a Heisman Trophy finalist, A.J. McCarron was also named the winner of the 2013 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award for the best senior QB in America. Georgia QB Aaron Murray was also a finalist. (

Tre Mason was also named the 2013 SEC Offensive Player of the Year by the AP. (

Auburn first-year head coach Gus Malzahn has been named the 2013 SEC Coach of the Year by the AP. (
