Former Alabama running back and current New Orleans Saint Mark Ingram has a few thoughts about the disappointing end to the Crimson Tide's 2013 season. The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner says that this past season reminded him of the Tide's 2008 season, which was the year before the team won it's first of three BCS titles in four years.
"We were right there," Ingram said. "If we won that game, we were going to the national championship. Just to taste that and remember how that felt in the locker room after that game, we took it to heart. That whole offseason we prepared and that next year, we weren't going to be denied and we went 14-0.
"Hopefully we have that same experience and take away that same taste and feeling we had."

Like the 2013 Crimson Tide, the 2008 team lost its last two games of the season, including the Sugar Bowl.
