Vanderbilt assistant coach Vavae Tata fired after pleading guilty to DUI charge.

Vavae Tata is an ex-Vanderbilt defensive line coach. This comes after Tata pleaded guilty to a DUI charge resulting from an incident in February where he was involved in a accident in which he hit two cars while driving intoxicated.
The guilty plea was part of a plea bargaining agreement which dropped charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
Tata had been hired to be the DL coach for new Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason in January. He and Mason has previously worked together at Stanford.
