Georgia starting quarterback Hutson Mason says that he has been spending the offseason working on improving his footwork. To that end, he's been using an iPad app called "Coach's Eye" to improve in that area.
“It’s kind of my new best friend,” Mason said. “Every little thing I do is just trying to create good habits. When you go out there in the games and in the fall, you don’t have really time to focus on your mechanics, so you really want to get those down and perfect those.”

Mason was thrown into the fire last season when QB Aaron Murray suffered a season-ending ACL injury during the Bulldog's Nov. 23 game against Kentucky. Mason went on to lead the Dawgs to victory against the Widcats, and against in-state rival Georgia Tech the next week. The Mason-led Bulldogs were defeated by Nebraska in the 2014 Gator Bowl.
