Is Nebraska's Jamal Turner switching positions? The wide receiver began the Cornhuskers' first  spring practice of the year taking snaps at quarterback along with QB's Tommy Armstrong and Johnny Stanton.
Armstrong, who replaced the injured Taylor Martinez as starting QB for the Huskers in 2013, is expected to be to keep the starting job when the 2014 season begins. That didn't stop Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini from asking Turner, originally recruited as a QB but who switched to WR in his freshman year, to take snaps alongside Armstrong and Stanton.
''It just gives us some other options, some wildcat things,'' coach Bo Pelini said. ''He has quarterback in his background, so it's not new to him. We're going to give him significant reps at quarterback this spring and see where it is."

According to Pelini, Turner is enjoying the experiment back at QB. ''He likes it," Pelini said.  He thinks he's Russell Wilson. Jamal isn't lacking for confidence.''
