Two unidentified members of the Texas football team have been reportedly questioned about an alleged sexual assault by University of Texas police.

The Austin American-Statesman's Kirk Bohls and Brian Davis reported the story on Saturday night regarding the incident, stating that a University of Texas campus police spokesman "confirmed that an investigation has begun involving three students after a recent on-campus incident." The spokesman did not divulge whether any of the students questioned were connected to the Texas Longhorns football program.
Bohls and Davis cited an anonymous source "close to the football program" were members of the current Texas Longhorns football roster, but reportedly refused to "confirm their identity."
There has been no response from first-year head close Charlie Strong, who was reportedly " conducting a women’s football clinic" along with his coaching staff. Bohls and Davis made note that Strong has previously named treating women with respect as one of his five "core values" that "was a sure way for a player to lose his scholarship" if violated.
