Needless Hollywood Remake of the Week

Ain't It Cool News is reporting that there's a remake of Highlander in the works. Just in case you don't know Highlander is the story of an immortal Scottish warrior who fights other immortal warriors to the death. Well, immortal until you behead them. It's pretty much an overrated cult film starring Christopher Lambert as the title character (Connor MacLeod) and Sean Connery as his mentor. It inspired a TV series and even an animated cartoon. It's also known for a sound sprinkled with Queen songs like "Princes of the Universe".
