Braves' try to "Name a Met" (allegedly). Does Jeff Francoeur ring a bell?

Deadspin posted this alleged attempt by the Atlanta Braves to have a little fun at the Mets:

Uh, does the name "Jeff Francoeur" mean anything to Braves' fans. You know, the guy who pretty much underperformed under the tutelage of Braves' intern hitting coach Terry Pendleton? The guy who the Braves' traded to Los Mets for useless waste if a carbon based life form Ryan Church?
And what did Francoeur turn around and do? Become one the only bright spots on Los Mets roster this year.
Even worse, it looks like he's slowly becoming a leader in the clubhouse.
Why couldn't he do this in Atlanta? Maybe because he wasn't the problem, and more how things were run. Despite that last minute attempt at the Wild Card, the Braves still managed to collapse back in to old form. The last game of the season ended in a one run loss to the pathetic Washington Nationals. Pretty much par for the course for the Braves in the past few years.
With the Braves stuck with Bobby Cox and his two bumbling interns Harry and Lloyd coaches Pendleton and Roger McDowell, it probably won't get any better next year. If Los Mets can get their act together (and stay healthy) it 2010 could be an amazing year for Francoeur.
