Review:

And Lo' and Behold! There came about a book, and it was SUPER GINCHY!!!

That's right people. Super Ginchy!, Image comics and the master of the Atomic universe, Mike Allred, is back with 45 pages of quirky noodle adventures zip-tied into his creation, the mythic hero Madman! As giant-sized as it is awesome, this Madman special delivers a who's who of guest stars from the alternative world of comics and a few mainstream favorites as well. We open with Madman having to admonish a "gentle" soul who wears other people's faces and has stolen a former teammate's ear. No, I mean literally the actual ear, not just her attention. Madman, then takes a plummet into the abyss, "Alice in Wonderland" style, but unlike the clueless young blonde, uttering "cCuriouser and curiouser," Madman manages to pen a whole novel with his mind, use the bathroom, and eat a sandwhich. Now that's talent! There's also three other tales by Allred's fellow creators Emi Lemox, who shows us how Madman and Joe, really feel about emotive music, Matt Kindt who takes us out of this world and onto other worlds with characters from the Atomic universe, and Tonci Zonjic who shows us where Madman would be without his friends.

With art by the Allred family as well as contributing pin-ups from Gilbert Hernandez, Darwyn Cooke, Dave Sim, amongst many others, this Madman Giant-size, Super Ginchy special is not to be missed, otherwise risk being super lame, Humans!
