By Keb Ellis in Features on October 11, 2008

Superman comes from the Golden Age, right? He was created in 1938, making him 70 years old. Over those seventy years he's become an American pop culture icon. If you see the big red S on someone's chest you think Superman.

The Sixth Week of College Football in 2008

By Ben Wilder in Features on October 8, 2008

It's taken 6 weeks but it looks as though the storyline of the year is going to be whether the offensively minded Big 12 or the defensively minded SEC is the true power conference.  Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Missouri, Texas, and Texas Tech are putting up numbers that the arena league would envy.  LSU, Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and Auburn boast the kind of fast, hard hitting defenses that teams hate the face.  Something has to give, right?

Carlos Beltran

With the conclusion of the 2008 baseball season,  there are lot of things I could talk about. The playoffs, a NLCS preview, even a look into the offseason. Instead, I'd rather do something that takes a bit more effort, but might be an interesting read.

Visiting and Touring Screamland with Harold Sipe and Héctor Casanova!

By Greg Anderson-Elysee in Columns on September 26, 2008

I decided "Eh, what the heck? Take a chance and buy it." And boy was it a great chance as I felt I should have spent my last 3 bucks ont he second issue! Héctor was even nice enough to give me a free Joker sketch after spending all my cash! Thanks, guys! Without further ado...
