Flamers, Playmates and Afros Strictly Speaking may be a bit late this week, thanks to an insidious virus. But we're still gonna look at the latest news on the Fantastic Four movie franchise. Then, we'll go where no action figure has gone before. After that, we'll ask whether or not the country is ready for a Black Lantern. And finally...Hornets. My God.
As we creep closer and closer to the Top 10, we have yet another shocker for ya. Out of nowhere one of these characters, who I thought as some of you did as well, made it out of the One Point Club into Top 20. And do not worry, this character deserves to be here in my opinion.
We have a trio of X-villains here. All good. I bet someone will say, "They shouldn't be this high" well, just be thankful that they didn't get beating by the Hood.
The Top 25 has begun, only 15 away (if you do not count the One Point Club) till we start the Top 10. So many great characters listed here, well, with one exception. So yeah, now your anger issues can be resolved for in this post is the character you have all be waiting for. Which I have learned is the most hated characters in comics today. If this list did anything, it just made that hate grow into something big and hateful. I was starting to get really scared. No, seriously, I was*.
And War of Kings! We're taking on one issue in the Dark Reign and then catching up on the War of Kings. Today, we check out Deadpool #6, X-Men: Kingbreaker #1, Guardians of the Galaxy #8 and then blast to the past for Namor's first Silver Age appearance in Fantastic Four #4. Enjoy and spread the word! Spoilers Ahead!
I...I just....*takes a deep breath*...ok. I can do this, right? Nope. Wrong, just read it and call me when the bitching is done.
As we inch closer to the Top 10 more and more bigger names are showing up, maybe not in this batch, but soon. Either way, some damn cool villains in grouping.
We have a trio of villains from three different corners of the Marvel U. I'm a fan of them all, but I can predict more then a few of you saying "meh" or "should be lower" to a few of them.
We have four villains, pretty big names actually. All deserve to be in the Top 50 for sure, do some deserve to be in the Top 25 or even the Top 10? Well, I will leave that up to you too rant and rave about.
Three relative new villains make it into the Top 50, which totally shocked the hell outta me, but I am glad they are here. Well, some of them, and on that note...
Well, here we go the Top 50. From here on out I believe you will be truly shocked where some of these characters showed up. Characters who should be high are not, and those who shouldn't be even in the Top 100 got tons of points. So, enough of my rambling I will just get to it. Enjoy, I know I am.
Once again, I wanna apologize for the lack of posts the last few days. Family stuff popped up and well, yeah, but that takes priority. But, to make up for it, I hope you get four entries today because we are entering the Top 50 of your Marvel Baddies. Will your favorite characters show up before The Hood? Only one way to find out....READ ON!!
Everyone's favorite Irredeemable Ant-Man artist, Phil Hester, drops by to discuss Firebreather, Golly!, carnies, funny moments for writing materials and more!
A trio of characters, two X-related and one Spidey related. Again, one of these characters I figured would be in the Top 50, but alas, he did not.
This next group of villains pretty much is epitome of what this list is all about. Collected, these four baddies have a huge body count on their resume. No, not a Thanos-killed-half-the-universe numbers, but huge nonetheless. One is a alternate universe version of a character who ruled the world with a Darwin view, another is a century old Ruler of the Night who has battled so many of the Marvels heroes, then we have a Dark Lord who once reshaped the Universe and reality as a whole, and lastly we have the former ruler of the Negative Zone who stormed our universe with an such a force that made Galactus shake in his huge helmet. Like always, not in that older. Most, if not all of these characters, should be in the Top 50 in my mind. All I am going to say is, do not kill the messenger.
For the first installment of Strictly Speaking, we'll take a first look at the cast of Wolverine's new flashback flick, and discuss why it's not as cool as you think. Then we'll have a taste of space chocolate with BSG's Kandyse McClure, speaking about her last episode on the show. Then, we'll see if Mr. Speigel from Cowboy Bebop knows kung-fu. Finally we'll find out how far the apple falls from George Lucas's man-tree, with a look at 20 year old Katie Lucas's episode of Clone Wars.
One last Secret Invasion issue and then we're all about Dark Reign... and War of Kings! Today, we check out Secret Invasion: War of Kings #1, The Invincible Iron Man #9, Punisher #1 and then blast to the past for Loki's first appearance in Journey Into Mystery # 85. Enjoy and spread the word! Spoilers Ahead!
