Newsweek, that stalwart bastion of the liberal media conspiracy, will be discontinuing its print edition as of December 31. Like many magazines and newspapers, Newsweek has suffered from low sales since people realized they could get their news colored with liberal propaganda for free on the internet. Newsweek claims that this is not the end of the popular liberal rag, but simply a transition to a new format. However, staff cuts are expected.

 

In response to the story, legendary comics creator and noted recluse wizard Alan Moore accused Newsweek of stealing his ideas. "I've written many comics that ended," said Moore, speaking telepathically. "Now, Newsweek is ending. Coincidence? I think not."

 

We reached out to Moore's glorious beard for further comment, but the beard would only ask us what the hell Alan Moore was doing in this story, which clearly has nothing to do with him. We told the beard that we only wanted to know what it thought about Newsweek, and that we did not expect the Spanish Inquisition.

 

"NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION," replied the beard.
