the VINYL file episode 5: Satisfactory Disappointment
- Written by Keb Ellis on Friday, November 30 2012 and posted in Features
Keb's latest trip to the record store wields some interesting results. Records from Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Oh No and Death from Above 1979 are up for review.
Oh look, it's that guy who looks like a South Asian Sean Price (not my words). In this episode I return to the same shop from last week and am utterly disappointed to find out that the albums I wanted weren't in. However, the trip did bring some great results! Records up for review are:
Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Thuggin' (12")
Oh No - Dr. No's Kali Tornado Funk
Death from Above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine
