Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller have been having trouble getting Michael Clarke Duncan to reprise his role as Manute in the sequel to Sin City, mostly due to the fact that Duncan is deceased, which puts him second only to Bill Murray as far as being hard to nail down for a movie role. Duncan's obvious replacement, Ving Rhames, is also unreachable, due to his career being deceased. As a result, Dennis Haysbert, who played the president in the first few seasons of 24, and possibly in later seasons (we wouldn't know because the show was too tedious to continue watching past the fourth season), will take over the role instead.

The Outhouse is slightly concerned that Haysbert is smaller in stature than Duncan and so the transition might be a bit jarring. However, we asked a racist for a second opinion.

"They both look alike to me," said the racist.

Well, there you have it. Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For is due out in theaters in October, 2013. Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King, and Rosario Dawson will reprise their roles in the film.
