Harlan Ellison and Paul Chadwick Team Up on New DC Graphic Novel

Harlan Ellison and Paul Chadwick, creator of Concrete, are teaming up on a new graphic novel being released by DC Comics next summer.  The project, entitled Harlan Ellison's 7 Against Chaos will feature 7 warriors teaming up to save a futuristic Earth from a unraveling reality.  In a press release, Ellison said he'd been working on the project for 21 years and that the project was "It is The Magnificent Seven, The Seven Samurai in space."

According to several media sources, the graphic novel is being released through DC Comics, and not through Vertigo.  However, it doesn't appear that the project will be tied to any mainstream DC continuity.
