After reporting a few days ago that actor Jason Momoa, best known for his role as Khal Drago in Game of Thrones and unfortunately as Conan in the failed reboot, had been offered the role of Drax the Destroyer after his screen test, the negotiations have apparently fallen through and Marvel is screen testing actors again.

Jason Momoa could be a good choice for the role and despite his last two films not being big hits, he continues to be a fan favorite for the role.  Director James Gunn has said however that the film is "not cast-dependent," adding, "we could make a movie with unknowns if we wanted to."   Is he repeating Terrence Howard's mistake when he asked for too much to reprise his role in Iron Man 2, only to be replaced by Don Cheadle?  Momoa may be a rising star, but all rising stars need a big movie to send them on their way and Guardians might be that movie.  Unfortunately, according to @elmayimbe of Latino Review, Momoa is just asking for way too much at this time.
