Sunday Video Funday!

Sunday Video Funday!

Interesting videos (game and movie trailers and more) floating about the interwebs as of March 3rd, 2013.

First up is the leaked trailer for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. It got out on the internet a bit earlier than Ubisoft intended, so watch it while you can. Though, it does seem like they gave up trying to pull them all down. Game looks like it will be rated ARRRRRRRRR! (ok, that was bad).

And since we are on the subject of trailer, a couple new movie trailers landed this week.  The first is the Tom Cruise movie: Oblivion, looking better and better with each trailer we see.  Trailer #3 came out this week:

The other... well, can't say I'm excited about this one, but it's a must share.  No, this is not a satirical piece, it's a real movie brought to you by Avi Arad, the guy behind some of Marvel Movies first big films.

I know, I'm sorry.  That was frightening.  To get us back on track, the Game of Thrones, season 3 trailer.  With 20 seconds of extra footage!

Our next video is a fan-made piece for the Walking Dead, he made the intro as if the show had come out in the 90s.  It does give me some Silk Stalkings flashbacks, and, you have to love how he made sure to process it in the old tv format.

I like to throw some music in these as well, add a little Skyrim into the mix and I'm sold.  First up is the Skyrim Main theme A Capella cover.  It's not overly fancy, they stuck to the main chorus and haunting chanting, but did a good job with it.

Oh, you thought I meant real music?  Fine, here is a full unedited clip of Lenny Kravitz playing some (and for) Led Zepplin at the Kennedy Center Honors.

A couple of weeks ago Sony held a big event to announce the Playstation 4 and showed several clips of upcoming games.  Here is an HD clip of one of the longer clips they showed, the gameplay sample for Killzone: Shadowfall.

Now we are getting to the final stretch and I have just a few more random videos to throw at you.  Next up is a Simpsons video: Maggie Simpson in "The Longest Daycare" - a short that was nominated for an Academy Award.

And the last one is just to mellow you out.  It's from NASA and a sort of natural spirograph as one of their telescopes traces the data from a pulsar.
