It appears that Apple might be more cool with explicit gay scenes depicted in comic books afterall. Macworld is stating that Apple never gave an order to pull Saga #12 off of Comixology's iOS app after Brian K. Vaughan claimed that the comic had been pulled due to showing two explicit gay sex scenes.
Update: Apple has confirmed to Macworld it did not block Saga #12 on Comixology. We’ll post an update shortly.— Macworld (@Macworld) April 10, 2013
Immediately following the news, Comixology quickly released a blog post admitting that it, and not Apple or Google, had made the decision to pull the comic to "respect Apple's policies". Luckily, Comixology was informed by Apple that it was absolutely cool with explicit gay sex scenes in its comics, leading to the company putting Saga #12 back on the shelves. We're still waiting to hear exactly why Comixology felt that Saga #12, the least nude issue of the series so far, would invoke Apple's ire, but we'll probably never get a straight answer.
So, to sum up: everyone's cool with gay blowjob/bukkake scenes. Apple's cool with explicit gay blowjobs, Google's cool with explicit gay blowjobs. Comixology is cool with explicit gay blowjobs. Most importantly, the Outhouse, voted as the comic book website most often confused with a gay dating site, is and has always been cool with explicit gay blowjobs.
You'll be able to purchase gay blowjobs from Comixology's app shortly, or just get onto your Internet browser and find them on the Internet for free.
Our friends at Nix Comics are sponsoring The Outhouse this week. Show them you appreciate it by checking out their comics. One dollar from every Nix Comics sold this month will go to Kirby-4-Heroes.
