Just what is this Essential Graphic Novels reading order thing we keep hearing about at C2E2?
Source: Bleeding Cool
Though we've personally edited two panel recaps by intrepid Outhouse reporter Zechs in which he's talked about these, we still had no idea what the hell this DC Comics Essential Graphic Novels Reading Order project was. Sure, that could be because intrepid reporter Zechs is drunk 24/7, but thanks to Rich Johnston over at Bleeding Cool, who understands that a picture is worth a thousand words (or 476.4 words in British currency), we finally understand what the hell this is.
Apparently, it's an index that describes the reading order of DC trade paperbacks that are still considered at least somewhat in continuity in the Nu52, we guess. That's actually pretty cool. I wonder how DC will fuck it up.
Johnston had some "Little Bleeders" at the convention that sent him some pics from the book. You'd think we might have managed this, with multiple reporters in some of these panels, but hey, nobody ever accused The Outhouse of being organized and professional.
Nobody ever accused us of being ethical either, so we'll just post some of Rich's pics here. You can head to Bleeding Cool to see more.
