WIFE: Again with the Mohawk. I think this cover is trying too hard.
RU: Well, it is highlighting three time periods of X-Men.
WIFE: Now, how the fuck was I supposed to know that?
WIFE: Are we just going to ignore the huge wings in the middle of the cover?
RU: Yes, yes we are.

WIFE: Is that, what’s that movie with the big giant robot? Do you know what I am talking about?
RU: My Giant? No, that’s the Bill Murray movie about the basketball player.
WIFE: You mean Billy Crystal.
RU: YES! And you mean Iron Giant.
WIFE: That was a good movie.
RU: It really was.
RU: Did Cyclops slip on ice?
WIFE: heh, loser

WIFE: They all look really guiltily. I don’t think they meant to blow up what they blew up.
RU: Cyclops looks like he smelled a baboon’s ass.
WIFE: …and liked it

RU: Did Cyclops’ head just blow up?
WIFE: That baboon ass must have smelled really bad! No, I think the robot blew off Cyclops’ head. Ohhh, that baboon must have been spoken for.
RU: I told you this type of thing would start happening once we let those people marry.
WIFE: “Those people”?
RU: You know…the Dutch!
WIFE: I don’t see anyone wearing wooden shoes!
RU: That reveal comes on the next page, available on August 12, 2013

Hank McCoy brought the original X-Men into the present in the hopes of changing the course of history and stopping Scott Summer’s mutant revolution before it even begins. And just as mutant civil war is about to hit its boiling point, an unexpected third party comes in to change the game—the future X-Men! They’ve traveled back in time with a warning—the original X-Men need to go back to their rightful time or they will be the final nail in mutantkind’s coffin. They risked everything to come to the past and won’t leave until the All-New X-Men are back in the past.

About the Author - GHERU
RU, or as he’s known in the writers’ room: the cute one, is relatively unappreciated in his time. RU’s YouTube show, RUviews is watched by literally multiple people every month and his Outhouse articles have helped line many a bird cage. Before you send RU a message, he knows that there are misspelled words in this article, and probably in this bio he was asked to write. RU wants everyone to know that after 25+ years of collecting he still loves comic books and can’t believe how seriously fanboys take them. RU lives in Akron Ohio (unfortunately) with WIFE, ‘lilRuRu, and the @DogGodThor. You can also find him on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, & even Google+ (if anyone still uses that).
