 Just 'X-Force' Rises From the Ashes of Vendetta

Uncanny X-Force, along with Cable & X-Force, will end at the conclusion of the crossover "Vendetta". In both books place will be adjectiveless X-Force.

After a long and agonizing analysis on the cost of adjectives for their X-Men titles, Marvel has decided that the best way to define X-Force is to just call it by the name itself. Today via CBR, Marvel revealed that both current X-Force books: Cable & X-Force and Uncanny X-Force, would end at the conclusion of the "Vendetta" crossover running through both books in January. X-Force will debut in February with an all-new creative team behind it: writer Si Spurrier (X-Men: Legacy) and artist Rock He-Kim. The new X-Force will feature Cable, Psylocke, Fantomex (the good guy male clone, not the evil or female ones), and Marrow?!

"We blew most of our adjective budget on all those teasers we've been putting out lately," explained editor in chief Axel Alonso. "We had to take out a loan from China to publish Amazing X-Men, and, frankly, I don't think the American people are willing to enter into more debt for an X-Force book."
