Welcome to the list of things that I would love to get for presents this holiday season. Hopefully you'll find it useful. If not, well then at least I tried!
Handbag of Holding – Think Geek $49.99
I can hear you already “Of course she wants a purse. Typical woman…” Yeah, well duh, I do like purses, makeup, candles and other girly things. I am a female who hides her girlyness behind crude jokes and playing sports. However, I feel that you may be forgetting the more important factor. I’m half Asian, and this bag has a shit-ton of pockets for me to use to organize my life. It’s like Think Geek took my love of spreadsheets and transformed it into a purse. Supposedly that's some kind of D&D reference, so if your Geek Girl is into D&D then you might get double bonus points.
Deluxe Quad Sorter Mesh Bags – Brookstone $68.99
I need a new laundry sorter for my room and this looks absolutely perfect. Not only will it help sort your clothes, it has easy hanging bags and handles for you to carry your laundry to wherever. Since I’m just going to the basement of my house, I think that this will be especially handy. As an added bonus it’ll keep me from accumulating a month’s worth of laundry thanks to it’s compact size for each of the individual sections. .
Pocket Projector Mobile, 85-Lumen – Sale $299.99
I was going to be lazy and put up a giant TV on here because I’m still sporting a 27 inch tube TV in my living room I got in 2002 at Walmart for $150. However, I’ve had my eye on these projectors for a while and I think that this would be a much cooler option. Not to mention that when I want to cause a little mischief I can take this bad boy on the road. I mean, when I need to...show people videos from my recent vacation. Yeah….
Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker – Best Buy $199.99
My friend Raddy came to visit around Halloween and got one of these because a friend had revealed to him the awesomeness that is the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker. He showed me the ease of setting up the Bluetooth with his phone and iPad. He also demonstrated the immense volume and sound quality that came from such tiny speakers. Brothers and sisters, I have SEEN THE LIGHT! I am here to witness! Also, to try and talk someone into buying one for me so I can play music at softball next season.
LOOTCRATE $13.37/mo + $6 S&H = $19.37/mo
LOOTCRATE is a subscription service where you have awesome nerdyness sent directly to your door once a month. Imagine getting a package filled with items varying from Big Bang Theory, nerdy t-shirts, Walking Dead, Marvel themed items, and many more genres that make my little geek heart swoon.
Ipsy - $10/month
Oh, here we go again with the girly stuff. I’ve been an Ipsy subscriber for a while now, and although I don’t love every month’s items, I feel like just getting a makeup Bag every month helps to give the feeling of more value every month. I’ve gotten everything from false eyelashes, lipstick and lotion to nail polish. It’s like a tiny little treat every month when I see that shiny pink bubble wrap package in my mailbox.
POPSUGAR MUST HAVE BOX - $39.95/mo
If your geek girl already has subscritpion services and loves them then POPSUGAR may be for her. It's a bit more pricey than your average subscription but the value is always there in the items you get. With a variety of items ranging from food, fashion to beauty and more it's always my favorite box to open every month.
