Maybe you've read some articles here on The Outhouse before such as when we covered the Smörgåsbord Squad, Not So Super, or This Bites by writer Jacques Nyemb. If you've seen his spritely, upbeat comics, you know they make your inner child happy, or actual children happy. If you liked the reviews, but felt wierd about purchasing them on platforms you aren't used to, get ready, because while his Kickstarter isn't kicking off anything new, it's bringing all 3 comics to print at the same time.
I'm often hesitant supporting Kickstarter projects, I want to really trust that I'm getting what I'm paying for. Not only do I feel safe supporting this project, I'm excited about it! Not So Super Comics has yet to get the attention it deserves, and this Kickstarter project might just be able to do that. Social Media platforms can be difficult things to construct from the ground up. So this is a project worth funding in my opinion, not only for the comics, but for the principle of supporting a member of the independent industry.
Reviews (not only from The OH) are listed on the Kickstarter page, and the buy-ins are inexpensive. The art of course is eclectic coming from 4 different artists (2 on Smörgåsbord Squad), you feel how linked they are to the writer, but each of them are great in their own respective form & function. They are each simple, vibrant, with heavy inks and cartoonish styles. Think The Regular Show meets Doug.
This is a "pull the trigger" sort of Kickstarter campaign, in my opinion. Check out the official Kickstarter page to decide for yourself! Also, check out the Kickstarter Pipeline articles for more about kickass Kickstarter projects.
Our friends at Nix Comics are sponsoring The Outhouse this week. Show them you appreciate it by checking out their comics. One dollar from every Nix Comics sold this month will go to Kirby-4-Heroes.

He rhymes lousy words, making him sound absurd, and probably a little obtuse.
