13 Slays of Halloween:Berberian Sound Studio (2012)

A thriller of the mind is the latest entry for Zechs to devour.

Over the last two years for Halloween, I've done nothing but review Scream Factory releases. Though entertaining as heck movies (not to mention they're currently having a sale every week in celebration of this glorious holiday), this year I sought something more. Due to how you love to see me in utter dismay through my various Michael Bay experiences and see in me gittiness over things I do like), This year I decided that YOU would choose what I'd  see. So I sent the word out to various friends and people via the forums/twitter/Facebook. These are the choices. These are the Thirteen Slays of Halloween that I will endure. Will a film from these various selections break me or entertain me? Only one way to find out! Yes, this is going to be a reoccurring theme at the beginning of this article.

Day Six an intriguing selection, because it stars a famous person, and yet I never heard of it until it was recommended to me, Berberian Sound Studio (2012), starring Toby Jones (Armin Zola from the Captain America movies). Here's the trailer:

Here's my thoughts on the movie:

I've got one entry left by the way.  If you want me to subject to a horror unlike any other there's still plenty of time. Well, OH! forum member, The Old Doctor FINALLY gets his wish. For tomorrow I will be looking at The Keep (1983) which surprisingly has an all-star cast and an early Micheal Mann directed movie.
