13 Slays of Halloween: The Graveyard Shift (1990)

Once again Zechs runs the gauntlet of horror with thirteen movies.

Hey folks. Yeah, this is a bit later than usual this year, all things considering. But I'm back to do this because you folk love my misery. My reasons for being delayed are explained in the video review, but let's just say again I have the hurdles of life throwing me for a loop. Every year it just seems more daunting to run this gauntlet of horror (my fourth. Dear God. I've done this for four years? Holy crap, I have! Wow) and then post it all. Does this mean this year's the last one I'm doing this? We shall see.

Regardless, the show must go on. For the first entry of this year's 13 Slays of Halloween with the Graveyard Shift (1990) starring David Andrews, Stephen Macht, and Brad Dourif.

Here's the trailer:

My review:

And for good measure, as I promised. The damn end song that'll always stick with you no matter what:

The next entry I'll begin my small honor run by looking at a film from one of the horror great's we lost this year with a film by director Tobe Hooper. Oh sure to watch the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre or one of his Canon Group Inc films would be easy. Nope, I went with the Mangler (1995) that stars Ted Levine and Robert Englund. Will it mangle me? You'll soon find out.

13 Slays of Halloween

Day One: The Graveyard Shift (1990)

Day Two: The Mangler (1995)

Day Three: The Devil's Wedding Night (1973)
