13 Slays of Halloween: The Devil's Wedding Night (1973)

Low-budget Italian horror with an amazing title? Tonight will be the night Zechs watches this film!

The night is still young, and with this, I make up for all the time lost in the last three days. Because that's what I do. I run this damn gauntlet of horror for your entertainment. Not mine. I just get the fact to watch something to take my mind off things. Maybe I'll find a good movie to buy or worse something to bury and forget.

Tonight's entry is The Devi's Wedding Night (1973) an Italian Horror movie starring Mark Damon and Rosalba Neri. Here's the trailer (a bit of a warning. This one is a bit nsfw and so grindhouse. If anyone is all up in arms about it. Well, I did warn you):

Here's my review:

Tomorrow's entry will be looking at another horror director who was lost to us this year in George A. Romero. Doing a zombie film by him was tempting, and after realizing I almost was going to do a Stephen King adaption again with the Dark Half (seriously why did I almost walk into another freaking adaptation like that?!). I figured to try out something a little outside both our realms: Monkey Shines (1988).

Yes, the movie that proves monkeys are damn dirty apes. Least that's what I'm getting with the title. We shall see if I'm right in that theory when I look at the film tomorrow.
