13 Slays of Halloween: Cry Baby Lane (2000)

This "lost" horror movie of 2000 gets unearthed by Zechs.

Last year, this film Cry Baby Lane (2000) was recommended to me at basically the last minute. But, the list I compiled was already made and so it had to wait. Wait until this year, when at long last I could watch it! And watched it I did! Because after all, this film has Frank Langella in it.

And we all know why I adore that man so much:

I will ALWAYS be in the giving vein any day this movie is on, and any Langella movie (yes ANY the man can make anything watchable). But surprisingly there's so much more backstory to the movie then I even realized (more on that in the video review). Here's the 2011 trailer for it:

My review:

The history of how it reaired was an added bonus. I do enjoy note taking and history as much as I do my love for films (go or bad). Though speaking of movies with another bunch of actors I like. Tomorrow's pick is another one (really two) to admire who we lost this year. Bill Paxton pulling double-duty (acting and directing in this), with Matthew McConaughey and Powers Boothe in Frailty (2001).
