Chasing The Matrix:
Nightfly's Music Video Week in Review  (week of 3/25/12)

Welcome to what's probably the fullest music video column I've published so far - wow - there was a lot new videos released last week. As a result this entry boasts three-way ties for both Winner and Runner Up.

I'm on the lookout for at least one additional Country Music source to augment CMT, so if you know of any good Country video aggregators please let me know. I now have a few rich sources for HipHop and Metal material released each week but at present CMT is my primary Country source. One twitter account I've recently found very helpful for discovering new HipHop and Metal videos is IsOurMusic - I recommend adding it to your follow list.

Early last month I featured Gavin DeGraw's latest video "Sweeter." Last week VEVO finally released a BTS Making Of the vid, I suggest checking it out (below).

This WiR edition spotlights Katy Perry in both my opening and closing sections. First in the form of an addictive Megamix video I've honestly watched way too many times (below), and later via ADIDAS commercial and lyric video link.
