Jenny Sparks

Year first appeared: 1996

Sparks was born January 1 1900 in England. She lived in a wealthy family and went to an all-girls school in Vienna. Sadly her family was killed while onboard the Titanic. Her father’s business was taken over by his rival. Without any money she had no other place to go except move in with her godfather Albert Einstein. There she met a young Adolf Hitler when he was still a bad painter. She convinced him to leave painting and go into politics. Her powers began to appear around 1913 and in 1919 her body would cease to age.

She would soon make contact with the Sliding Albion, an alternate version of Earth in which humans and a race of blue skinned aliens had been blending together since the Renaissance. She married a prince of that world named Lorenzo who wanted to over through his father. However he was using Jenny's world to help him over take his father because he felt he was too weak. She would go on to have many types of adventures as she journeyed through a number of different dimensions and would later become a Colonel in British Intelligence. She began a relationship with a reporter named Clarence Cornwall.

She later moved to America and became a hero and later began to see Dr. Indiana Jones and had a one-night stand with Elijah Snow as well as meet the High.

She later fought against the Nazi threat in WW 2. During one mission she rescued an egg from Nazis that was supposed to grow into a being that would bring a new age of peace. She was captured but was released thanks to her old friend who had her sent to England with the egg. She returned to America and became a Detective no longer believing in heroes. She was later forced to kill Clarence who tried to destroy an orphanage full of black children and in the forties went back to England. Later she became part of a highly secretive organization called the British Space Group. Meanwhile the Sliding Albion began a World War. The people began to use chemical warfare on one another, however the bacteria had been redirected towards our home reality, luckily however as it made its way through the Bleed it was altered and instead became the cause for several humans ending up with superpowers.

When the 1960's arrived Jenny formed a team of heroes. However tragedy struck when an indestructible member Abel Eternity became intoxicated after trying to prove his masculinity to some biker who had earlier been trying to forcibly intoxicate some innocent bystanders. It was up to Jenny to prove he wasn't so invincible by killing him herself to stop his rampage. This lead to the remaining members going their separate ways and Jenny stay in bed till 1982.

Jenny later became a member of another team of heroes made up from the children of the Albion incident, but she left this team as it was revealed that a member named Firesign used his and his teams powers to kidnap children for his deranged wife to build the parts into a perfect child.

Henry Bendix later appeared in her life asking her to join his Stormwatch group but she refused his offer, but after ten years she decided to join with Jack Bendix, Hawksmoor and Swift (a former lover and possibly the being from the egg). Soon Jenny's former friend the High reappeared and although Bendix tried to Stormwatch hide this from her she discovered his return and his plan to destroy the current laws and society and replace it with a new utopia. However Bendix seemed to go insane and all of the Highs teammates were killed and as he flew at the Skywatch Jenny was forced to activate the complexes force field killing him on impact resulting in the death of Bendix at Jenny's hands.

Stormwatch was later broken up when the Xenomorph aliens attacked. However Jenny would go on to forming a new team with her former Stormwatch teammates Swift and Hawksmoor, the successors of the Doctor and Engineer and the former Stormwatch members Apollo and Midnighter. Their mission was to make the world better at all costs.

As leader of the Authority Jenny faced the villain Kaizen Gamorra and his genetic soldiers. She also had to fight and defeat the forces of the Sliding Albion again. Death Soon the end of the consensus 20th century began to end and with it Jenny. However the alien creature that had originally created Earth had returned and intended to kill all humans who it viewed as parasites on its home. Jenny and her team flew into the creature’s brain and she destroyed it and in doing so died at the birth of the 21st century and its new spirit Jenny Quantum.

Fever

Year first appeared: 2001

When businessman Thayer Jost acquired the rights to the Doom Patrol name, he set about finding some new members. No one knows how he found Shyleen Lao, or how he recruited her to join his new team. The youngest member of the reformed Doom Patrol, Shyleen's developing heat powers remained erratic, possibly because she was still maturing or because she was untrained. For a brief time she had some control under Robotman but left on her own still struggling with control issues. Shyleen was a complex mix of gumption and adolescent fear. She liked being part of the team and facing great danger but could also be easily terrified by those same threats.

Shyleen floated around the DC Universe since then, until she was captured, brainwashed, and conditioned to fight for the Dark Side Club. She was shot in the head by Club subordinates when her opponent, Ravager, would not kill her after defeating her in battle. A future version of Shyleen appeared as a member of Lex Luthor's Titans Army in Teen Titans #52. This adult counterpart of Shyleen was named Pandemic, sporting red hair, glasses, and greater control over her abilities. Although since her death in the Terror Titans miniseries, it is likely this counterpart was erased from history.

With Green Lantern's heart, Manitou Raven is able to resurrect the Justice League and defeat the corrupt rulers of old day Altantis. Manitou Raven and his wife Dawn decide to travel to the future with the Justice League. Manitou Raven then joins the Justice League and later the Justice League Elite. Manitou began spending all of his time on work, and neglected Dawn. In order to try and make him jealous so that Manitou will want her back, Dawn began to have an affair with Green Arrow (Oliver Queen). Green Arrow was on both teams also. Manitou Raven eventually found out about the affair between the two but decided not to act. Before he left on a mission he told Dawn that he loves her. On the mission Green Arrow is struck out of the ship and Manitou Raven saves him with his hatchet. His spirit then traveled on to help Major Disaster with his drinking problem. Dawn was given his possessions and inherited his title and became Manitou Dawn.

fatcobra.jpg
Fat Cobra

Year first appeared: 2007

I cannot wait for the mini on this badass. Prince of Orphans in my opinion is the better choice, but I love me some Fat Cobra as well.

E. Honda vs. Fat Cobra in a fight. Who wins? Go!

Fat Cobra was introduced to all at the tournament just as all the other combatants, but Fat Cobra was chosen at random to be the first to entertain in an exhibition match against one hundred Shaolin Terror Priests. Even though the Terror Priests outnumbered the lone warrior, Fat Cobra's enormous skill and blinding speed proved to be more than a match for them. He defeated the Terror Priests in the exhibition and went on to challenge and overcome the champion of K'un Lun, Iron Fist. Fat Cobra's next match would have put him face-to-face with the Prince of Orphans but after seeing the blatant cruelty to Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter by Davos, the Prince of Orphans asked Fat Cobra's permission to challenge Davos instead. Fat Cobra obliged and was content to sit on the sidelines next to Iron Fist and watch the contest.

Later, at a feast for the contestants, Fat Cobra was thoroughly amused by past exploits of Dog Brother #1 when the Prince of Orphans proposed an alliance to save the city of K'un Lun from the forces of Hydra. Fat Cobra was thrilled that the legendary Prince wanted to sit at his table and pushed Bride of Nine Spiders out of the way to make room. The assumption that Fat Cobra would have aided the Prince of Orphans, regardless that his city was also threatened, would probably be correct, but either way Fat Cobra stood with the other Immortal Weapons as they confronted the terrorist forces that would have not only obliterated K'un Lun but the Heart of Heaven too. Fat Cobra did not want to disappoint his new allies and fought furiously in the coming battle. The forces of Hydra were overcome, but Fat Cobra's adventures are just beginning as he, and the other Immortal Weapons, decided to remain on Earth and investigate claims of an existing Eighth Capital City of Heaven.

Fat Cobra was enjoying his downtime on Earth, but he was not hesitant to get back into the action when John Aman needed to assemble the Immortal Weapons to deal with a threat to Danny Rand. Fat Cobra went toe-to-toe with the Servant of the Ch'i-Lin and found a formidable foe, with no clear winner of the contest. An investigation of the killer’s dwelling, led to the discovery of a map, and a close call with a bomb. Fat Cobra took the brunt of the blast, saving the lives of his fellow Immortal Weapons. After Rand had healed from his injuries, Fat Cobra accompanied him on a journey to the Eighth Capital City of Heaven.

zachzatara.jpg
Zach Zatara

Year first appeared: 2006

He is the cousin of Zatanna and also the nephew of the late Zatara, Zatanna's father. He learned of his family bonds in the wake of the Infinite Crisis. At that moment, Zachary's magic powers started working, he got the same backwards-speaking incantation powers as his famed cousin. After this Zachary self-proclaimed himself "the world's greatest and most popular teenaged magician."

Zatara was a member of the Teen Titans from the lost year after Infinite Crisis. Zatara forged a friendship with fellow Titan Kid Devil. It was thanks to Zatara's help that Kid Devil found Neron and got his powers. However, following a disastrous mission in New Azarath, Zatara left the team. The newly formed Teen Titans team visited Zatara in Tokyo during their trip around the world in search of Raven. Zachary has few to no real friends within the Titans as he often brags about his powers. He has been labeled a brat among his peers, and displays very little patience. Zachary helped the Titans once again in the short series World War III, where the team tried to stop Black Adam's murderous rampage in Greece. He later had to be treated medically after being slammed into a wall.

Zachary Zatara can create anything by speaking a backwards incantation. His powers are not as great as those of his cousin, Zatanna, as Zachary cannot affect people. He can, however, affect doves.
