Wow! Boston Comic Con was a much different convention than Big Apple Comic Con last week end. Last week was the multimedia extravaganza with most of the artist stuck in the back of the hall. The Boston Comic Con was an actual COMIC BOOK convention! No TV stars or Video Game booths hogging up the prime real-estate and inflating the ticket prices. The focus was on the comic books and comic book professionals. WALT AND LOUISE SIMONSON , TIM SALE , HERB TRIMPE , KHOI PHAM , GEOF DARROW , DAVID MACK , STEPHANE ROUX , JIM CALAFIORE , ERIC CANETE , CRAIG ROUSSEAU , SCOTT WEGENER , and more were front and center. Though the space was more confined than Pier 94 in NY, the Back Bay Events Center has a good atmosphere. It felt more like you were at a good party with friends and cool coworkers than an event.
I got lots of fantastic video interviews from almost every artist at the show. From the super stars to the local independent artist. Keep checking back at the Outhouse this week. I’ll be uploading them each as soon as I get them transferred, edited, and uploaded. Click the following links to go to the videos!

The Outhouse is sponsored this week by Late Nite Draw. Recently featured on ComicsAlliances' Best Art Ever, he is a Chicago-based commissioned artist with a self-published Digital+Print one-shot coming out in October about the abominable snowman called ABOBAMANIMABBLE, and is also available for commissions. Check out some amazing art by clicking here or by clicking the banner at the top, and support the people who support The Outhouse.
