16. Luke Cage (261 points - 11 first place slots)

powerman.jpgYou know, this is where I usually post a ton of quotes. But I will summarize what I got in an equations:

"Sweet Christmas" x 23 = *facepalm

This was worse then the time I received 15 "She knows stuff" for Layla Miller.

Oh, and for those of you who complain about the pic, I do not care. Whenever I can use Bruce Timm art, I do. So there.

Luke Cage (named Carl Lucas at birth) was raised in the slums of Harlem, New York. He spent his childhood in a gang called The Rivals, along with his friend Willis Stryker. Lucas engaged in many gang fights with The Diablos, a rival gang. He also committed petty crimes and worked for a crime lord named Sonny Caputo. Eventually, Lucas was put through the juvenile justice system and realized the pain he was causing his family. He changed his ways and in his adulthood, he joined The NYPD ( New York City Police Department) as a police officer. Willis Stryker rose through the ranks of crime. Stryker's actions brought the anger of The Maggia, a New York crime syndicate, upon Willis. The Maggia order a hit on Willis and he was badly injured only to be saved by Carl Lucas. Stryker's girlfriend Reva Connors grows fearful of Willis' line of work. She breaks up with him and finds comfort in Carl Lucas. Willis then believes that Lucas is the one responsible for the break up between him and Reva. In revenge, he planted drugs in Luca's Harlem Apartment and tipped off the cops. Lucas is then wrongly convicted and unjustly imprisoned .

While incarcerated Lucas grows angry and hateful towards Willis. He engages in jail fights and makes numerous failed escape attempts. Lucas is then transferred to a prison on the coast of Georgia. Lucas faces racism from one of the guards named Albert Rackham. Lucas then volunteers for an experiment which will shorten his sentence. Dr. Noah Burstein puts Lucas in an electrical field with and organic chemical compound. Dr. Noah later left Lucas unattended and the racist guard, Albert Rackham tampered with the controls and pushed the experiment way past it's original intent. In the resulting accident, Lucas is granted the powers of super strength, invulnerable skin, and extreme stamina. Lucas uses his powers to escape from the prison and later makes his way back to New York City.

Lucas then adopted a costume and the name Luke Cage and became a Hero For Hire, working for anyone who can meet his price. He set up an office in Times Square, and is eventually proven innocent and exonerated from his crimes by the testimony of Dr Noah Burstein. Luke then began to battle various criminals. He eventually runs into his old friend Willis Stryker, now a Maggia agent who goes under the name Diamond Back. Luke Cage and Diamond Back have an intense battle but Diamond Back is killed. Luke then went on to face many foes such as Gideon Mace , Chemistro, Discus, Stiletto , Shades and Comanche over the years.

Luke Cage later did a job for Doctor Doom and attempted an attempt to collect a fee from Doctor Doom after he reneged on his payment , this made him befriend and become a close ally to The Fantastic Four. Cage was then hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find and capture Spider-Man, Cage later got to know Spider-Man and returned Jameson's money which led Luke to be bashed by Jameson's newspaper. Cage later met his future wife Jessica Jones also known by her hero name as Jewel, Jewel had super-strength , during a mission where Luke got tricked into stealing a suit of armor from Stark International , Cage later got the codename Power Man. Luke then began to associate with the team know as The Defenders he fought along side The Wrecking Crew . Cage later got a spot on the Fantastic Four when Ben Grimm (The Thing) lost his powers . Luke was later mind controlled by the Puppet Master and was used to fight his teammates on the Fantastic Four. Cage later went solo and fought more villains including Dontrell " Cockroach" Hamilton and Ray " Piranha " Jones.

Luke was later called to help out the Defenders against Plantman, he later began to complain that his working in their group was messing up with his paying work. Luke was then paid by Nighthawk who gave Luke a steady paycheck for helping the Defenders, Luke stayed on their team as a main member. He later worked with Doctor Strange, the Hulk, Brunnhilde the Valkyrie, Nighthawk and Red Guardian. They defeated many threats such as Egghead and Headmen. Cage somehow felt out of place and later quit the team because he thought that he was not suited for teamwork.

Months later Cage's innocence in his drug charges was proven and John Bushmaster kidnapped Noah Burstein and began to blackmail Cage for his safety. Cage was later ordered by John to kidnap Misty Knight, which led to Luke fighting Iron Fist ( Danny Rand) from the city of K'un-Lun . Cage talked to Rand and explained the situation , Rand and Cage teamed up to defeat John Bushmaster and save his friends. Cage later on would work for Misty Knight in her detective agency.

Luke and Danny Rand( Iron Fist ) would later form a company called Heroes for Hire, they had an attorney named Jeryn Hogarth and the business was managed by Jennie Royce. Luke and Danny's friendship grew and they became best friends. Luke would later date Harmony Young. Cage and Iron Fist had great amounts of success with Heroes For Hire, they then earned a reputation and fought a vast amount of criminals such as Sabretooth and the Constrictor.

Iron Fist in a two-man team, Heroes for Hire, founded by attorney Jeryn Hogarth and staffed by administrative wunderkind Jennie Royce. Although the streetwise Cage and the unworldly Iron Fist seemed to have little in common, they soon became the best of friends; however, Cage's relationship with Claire Temple proved less durable, and he instead began dating model Harmony Young. They had several conflict's involving the nations of Halwan and Murkatesh, the Black Tiger.

Luke and Iron Fist worked with Spider-Man, Daredevil and Moon Knight, however they barely helped in the larger issues which The Avengers were in charge of . Their friendship made a turn for the worst when S.M.I.L.E. used Cage and Iron Fist to join Consolidated Conglomerates Inc, Luke and Iron Fist had their first mission where Iron Fist got radiation poisoning and Cage took him to K'un-Lun for treatment . Luke would later be accused of murdering Iron Fist after he was impersonated by a Skrull.

Luke was now on the run and moved to Chicago and he was later cleared of the charges with help, Daniel Rand later appeared and wanted to start over with Luke Cage, Cage tried to locate his surviving family members with the aid of Dakota North, his brother kept moving his father around. Luke girlfriend Harmony Young was killed and Ghost Rider aided him in finding her killer. Luke's heart was no longer set on heroics and he later helped run The Gem Theater with his friend. Luke later rejoined Heroes For Hire for one last mission. Luke then went back to Heroics and joined a group called Marvel Knights but mere days after he joined, the group disbanded following clashes with the forces of Tombstone. Luke later decided that a return to basics was in order, he re-established his Hero for Hire activities, intervening in a war between Crime Lords , Hammerhead and Tombstone.

Luke later has a one night stand with Jessica Jones ,Cage had a crisis after when Jessica reacted to the fling, her and Luke made peace and later worked together when Matt Murdock was accused of being Daredevil. Luke later told Jessica his feelings towards her grew and she told him she was pregnant , Cage and Jones moved in together and Jessica later was a superhuman consultant for The Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson still had hatred for Luke Cage denying the job of capturing Spider-Man. Luke was later requested to join a new version of The Avengers by Captain America, Luke helped aid the Avengers when a massive prison break on Ryker's Island happened. Jessica and Luke got married and are now the proud parent's of Danielle Cage named after Danny Rand ( Iron Fist ) Luke later sent his wife and daughter to Canada to avoid the Registration Act.

Luke would later oppose The SHRA ( Super Human Registration Act ) along with Captain America and the Anti Registration forces , Luke felt the Act was like slavery and fought with Iron Fist and Captain America until Captain America gave himself to the government and ended the Civil War.

After Captain America was assassinated, Jessica returned with the baby and Luke Cage and Spider-Man got together with the rest of the unregistered heroes and formed The New Avengers a newer version of The Avengers, their members consisted of Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Spider-Woman ( she was the Skrull Queen ), and Doctor Strange. There base was Doctor Strange's Sanctum. Cage and the Mighty Avengers were in numerous battles with the government for them being unregistered. Luke had trouble trusting Clint Barton due to his past of criminal activities, Cage was later proved wrong when Clint Barton had proved himself by taking out a group of ninjas by himself.

he Avengers would later rescue Echo in Japan and found out that Elektra was a Skrull imposter, Cage became very worried about the Skrulls powers to copy a person . Luke also had a theory there were more Skrulls on Earth, many of the Avengers were not sure they could trust anyone and The Team was betrayed by Spider- Woman as it was The Skrull Queen. Later The Sanctum would be raided by The Hood and his gang. Cage moved to a new location with the team and thought Jessica had abandoned him with the child. Luke and his wife Jessica got into an argument and had many disagreements. Luke sent the New Avengers to check out a Skrull Ship crashing landing in The Savage Land, Luke ripped open the ship and noticed many versions of heroes . The Avengers later fought The Skrulls in Central Park. Jessica helped in the effort to fight and admitted Luke was right about the Skrulls. Jarvis Skrull took Danielle Cage and vanished leaving Jessica and Luke upset.

After the intense battle ended, James Barnes ( Captain America ) called a meeting with The New Avengers at his home and offered them to use his house as a base for their operations, due to the Sanctum's previous destruction. Luke, Jessica and Ms Marvel arrived at Bucky's home . The Fantastic Four and Iron Fist are looking around the city for Jarvis Skrull seeing as Danielle is still missing , they raid various villain's bases such as A.I.M., HYDRA, Electro and The Red Skull. Looking for intel on the missing baby, they later found a Skrull in a bar dressed as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent and he was later shot by another agent, Jessica felt hopeless and thought Danielle was going to get killed by Jarvis Skrull. Luke got desperate and knew he was running out of options and then asked Norman Osborn to aid in the search for their baby and Luke promised Norman he'd do anything Norman asked for. Norman later helped Luke get the baby back and Luke Cage reneged on his offer to do anything for Osborn and the New Avengers.

Luke Cage helps Steve Rogers the original Captain America along with Bucky in fighting Living Laser, Nick Fury and his Secret Warriors (The remaining remnant's of S.H.I.E.L.D.) to fight off the H.A.M.M.E.R. agents. Steve Rogers spoke an inspiring speech to the New Avengers, Young Avengers and Secret Warriors. He says that they are going to take back this country and put Norman's Reign to an end. Captain America and Luke Cage along with New Avengers, Young Avengers and Secret Warriors go to Asgard to help Thor and Maria Hill in the attack Norman Osborn and his Dark Avengers along with The Thunderbolt's had made on Asgard.

Speaking of Thunderbolts, in the Heroic Age Luke here is the new leader of that ragtag group of awesomeness.

15. Deadpool (298 points - 6 first place slots)

deadpool.jpg"Deadpool has exploded from a character who could barely maintain an ongoing book to one who supports 4 current ongoings, is featured in variant covers line-wide, and even has talk of a movie spin-off from his appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Though some think his character has been diluted, it can't be denied that Deadpool has come into his own."

"Yeah the Merc with the Mouth. Yeah I know people will bitch and moan if he places high. I don't care. The memories of Mark Waid's Deadpool mini, Joe Kelly's run on his first ongoing series, or even Fab's Cable & Deadpool are still with me and to me they showed the core of the character.

Sure nowadays Wade's whored out by Marvel with everything, but I still consider him to be an interestingly dimensional and fun character. And who'd thought that from a Liefeld creation?"

"He may have started as a joke, and in many ways he still is, but Deadpool is the type of fun that comics need. He's a Mel Brooks movie by way of Quentin Tarantino with the fourth wall lunacy of a good Looney Tunes cartoon. He's a self-loathing mercenary, who suffers from multi-personality conflicts, is more than possible psychotic, but deep down, inside his child-like, just want to belong heart, is a heroic streak.

He may have started as a Deathstroke rip off, and look, Slade is a bad-ass on his own right, but Deadpool has evolved into a far better character. "

"Deadpool has exploded from a character who could barely maintain an ongoing book to one who supports 4 current ongoings, is featured in variant covers line-wide, and even has talk of a movie spin-off from his appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Though some think his character has been diluted, it can't be denied that Deadpool has come into his own."

Wow,

Wow.

I smell an uproar.

Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool made his first appearance in the pages of New Mutants #98 published in February 1991. Rob Liefeld, a fan of the Teen Titans comics, showed his new character to then writer Fabian Nicieza. Upon seeing the costume and noting his characteristics (killer with super agility), Nicieza contacted Liefeld, saying "this is Deathstroke from Teen Titans." Nicieza gave Deadpool the real name of "Wade Wilson" as an in-joke to being "related" to "Slade Wilson", Deathstroke. In his first appearance, Deadpool was hired by Tolliver to attack Cable and the New Mutants. After subsequently appearing in X-Force as a recurring character, Deadpool began making guest appearances in various different Marvel Comics titles such as the Avengers, Daredevil, and Heroes For Hire. In 1993 the character received his own miniseries, entitled The Circle Chase, written by Fabian Nicieza and penciled by Joe Madureira. It was a relative success, and Deadpool starred in a second, self-titled miniseries written in 1994 by Mark Waid and penciled by Ian Churchill.

In 1997, Deadpool was given his own ongoing title, initially written by Joe Kelly, with then-newcomer Ed McGuinness as an artist. The series firmly established his supporting cast, including his prisoner/den mother Blind Al and his best friend Weasel. Deadpool became an action comedy parody of the cosmic drama, antihero-heavy comics of the time. The ongoing series gained cult popularity for its unorthodox main character and its balance of angst and pop culture slapstick and the character became less of a villain, though the element of his moral ambiguity remained. The writer Joe Kelly noted, "With Deadpool, we could do anything we wanted because everybody just expected the book to be cancelled every five seconds, so nobody was paying attention. And we could get away with it."

The series was taken over by Christopher Priest who noted that he found Kelly's issues to be "complex and a little hostile to new readers like me' and that by issue 37, he realized that 'it was okay to make Deadpool look stupid".

Deadpool lasted until issue #69, at which point it was relaunched as a new title by Gail Simone with a similar character called Agent X in 2002. This occurred during a line wide revamp of X-Men related comics, with Cable becoming Soldier X and X-Force becoming X-Statix. Simone notes that 'When I took the Deadpool job, the revamp hadn't been planned, so it was a complete surprise. Thankfully, we heard about it in time to make adjustments to the early scripts'. It appeared that Deadpool was killed in an explosion fighting the aristocratic (and telepathic) villain known as the Black Swan. Weeks later, a mysterious figure showed up at the apartment of Deadpool's manager, Sandi Brandenberg. The man took the name Alex Hayden and together they started "Agency X," with Hayden dubbed Agent X after the company. Most believed that Hayden was Deadpool suffering from amnesia. The title character of Agent X was eventually revealed not to be Deadpool and the climax of that series saw the original character restored. Simone left the title after seven issues due to creative differences with the series editor.

Deadpool's next appearance came in 2004 with the launch of Cable & Deadpool written by Fabian Nicieza, where Deadpool became partnered with his former enemy, Cable, teaming up in various adventures. This title was canceled with issue #50 and replaced by a new Cable series in March 2008.Deadpool then appeared briefly in the Wolverine: Origins title by writer Daniel Way before Way and Paco Medina launched another Deadpool title in September 2008. Medina was the main series artist, with Carlo Barberi filling in on the first issue after the Secret Invasion tie-in.

A new Deadpool ongoing series written by Daniel Way with artist Paco Medina began as a Secret Invasion tie-in. In the first arc, the character is seen working with Nick Fury to steal data on how to kill the Skrull queen Veranke. Norman Osborn steals the information that Deadpool had stolen from the Skrulls, and subsequent stories deal with the fallout from that. Writer Daniel Way explained, "the first thing Osborn does to try and take care of the situation is to bring in a hired gun to take Deadpool down, which would be Tiger-Shark. That would be the standard thing to do, but of course everything about Deadpool is non-standard. So it goes completely awry and Norman has to get more serious about things." The story also sees the return of Bob, Agent of HYDRA, "I don't want the book to become 'Deadpool and Friends' so characters will drift in and out, but Bob was someone I definitely wanted to bring in. It just had to be at the perfect moment and when I was putting this storyline together that moment presented itself.". This all led directly to a confrontation with the new Thunderbolts in "Magnum Opus" which crossed over between Deadpool Vol. 4 #8-9 and Thunderbolts #130-131. Thunderbolts writer Andy Diggle said, "it's a natural progression for Deadpool to go after Norman, and for Norman to send his personal hit-squad after Deadpool."

Another ongoing Deadpool series, Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth launched in July 2009, written by Victor Gischler, with art by Bong Dazo. In it Deadpool teams up with the head of the zombie Deadpool from Marvel Zombies 3 and 4.

A special anniversary issue titled Deadpool #900 was released in October 2009. It features stories written by several authors, with the main feature written by the original Deadpool series writer Joe Kelly and drawn by Deadpool's creator Rob Liefeld. A third Deadpool ongoing series, Deadpool Team-Up, launched in November 2009 (with issue numbers counting in reverse starting with issue #899), written by Fred Van Lente, with art by Dalibor Talajic. This series will feature Deadpool teaming up with different heroes from the Marvel Universe in each issue, such as Hercules. It has also been confirmed by Chris Yost that Deadpool will soon join the cast of the new X-Force team.

Another Deadpool series, entitled "Deadpool Corps", is scheduled to be released in April 2010. This series is expected to feature alternate versions of Deadpool, consisting of Deadpool, Lady Deadpool (who debuted in Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth #7), Headpool (aka The zombie Deadpool head), and two new characters; Kidpool, a kid version of Deadpool who uses lightsabers, and Dogpool, a dog version of Deadpool.

14. Hank Pym (321 points - 7 first place slots)

hankpym.jpg"Scientist Supreme!"

"He's changed identities more than just about anyone in comics. He's a genius on the level of Stark or Richards or Doom, but with no confidence. Another of the guys that has had almost all his big moments in Avengers related comics, he's one of the heroes that has fallen the farthest of anyone and risen back up every time. Great character, and I'm glad he's being used more."

"my boy Hank. I don't care what any recent writers have had to say about him, I'll always think of Hank as he was in the WCA series, in Busiek's Avengers, and in Slott's recent MA run...that's the hero Hank is. A flawed man, a man who may make mistakes (big mistakes at that) but who somehow always finds a way to pick himself up and come back stronger. I still wish he'd go back to being "Dr. Pym" rather than adopting a codename, but I'll always love him no matter what name he takes."

Doctor Hank Pym: biochemistry, physics, astro-physics, cybernetics, robotics, A.I., entomology, zoology. No field of science was left unturned by the bright educated young man.

Married early to Maria Trovaya he his grief stricken when she is murdered while visiting her family's home in Hungary.

Returning to the States he begins working in his lab when he discovers a material that will forever alter his life. While trying to subtract physical particles of subatomic matter through a magnetic field resonator, he creates the first Pym Particles, which when set upon matter shrinks the physical nature of what it is exposed to. Wishing to test it, he exposes himself to it and he shrinks to the size of a pea. While small, he encounters a number of ants and he barely survives his journey back to his lab to restore himself to normal height.

After that adventure, Dr Pym began a crash course on ants developed a mean to communicate & control them as well as a costume to protect himself if he ever shrank himself again and was attacked by ants he couldn't control.

While working on secret government project, his lab was attacked by Russians wishing Pym's secrets for their own. Trapped with no escape, Pym decided it was time to try out his new inventions and he became ANT-MAN.

Ant-Man would beat those commie bastards and Pym discovered something altogether new for him. Fun. Soon Ant-Man began a long series of escapades taking on bank robbers, more Russians, mad scientists like Egghead and even a trip to a sub-atomic universe with the Fantastic Four. The tiny Ant-Man was becoming a huge hero.

Meanwhile a fellow scientist is making discoveries of his own and unleashes an extra dimensional portal that allows an alien being to come to Earth. Dr. Vernon Van Dyne is killed and his only daughter, Janet, calls Dr. Pym for help. After some contemplation, Pym decides to trust Janet with his double life and offers her the chance to avenge her father. She agree and Pym scientifically turns her into the Wasp. Together they stop the alien and the two become working partners (although Janet makes it clear she's looking for more).

Shortly after the Wasp makes her debut, the two are summoned for help to battle the Hulk. Iron Man and Thor are likewise called and together they reveal that it's all an evil plan of Loki's. Loki turns the tables and begins to glow with radioactivity and it is Ant-Man who saves the day by trapping Loki in a lead container. The battle won, the heroes decide to band together as The Avengers!

But something wasn't right with Hank. Sure it was he who saved the day against Loki, but when compared to Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk, he was just... an Ant. Insecurity set in and he decided to do something about. Reversing his Pym Particles he was able to double his size and strength. He ditched the Ant-Man identity and became GIANT-MAN.

Hank was clearly more powerful than ever but he was often awkward in giant form. Eventually his insecurities kicked in again and after a while he and Jan retired from super-hero life. Hank returned to his lab with Janet (whom he finally accepted his feeling for). Years later, Hank needed to become Giant-Man again but something went wrong as it was painful to change size. Eventually he was stuck at 10 feet. He found his way back to the Avengers who were glad to have him back. Even though Hank was now the teams powerhouse, he still lacked self esteem because he wasn't normal sized. Because of this he choose to change his name and costume and he became GOLIATH.

As Goliath he became the backbone of the Avengers and eventually, it's leader. Having found a way to return his size to normal he began to increase his lab work & studies at the same time his ever increasing duties as Avengers leader. The stress was too much and one day in his lab, while working on an artificial intelligence program for a robot servant he created, he fed the program his own brain wave patterns. The robot became sentient and instantly grew it's intelligence from infant to adult - all the while festering a pathological hatred for it's 'father'. The robot left Pym alive but the damage was done. Pym was nearing a mental breakdown - which happened a couple months later when he became schizophrenic.

Insecure Hank/Goliath disappeared, replaced by a confident and cocky YELLOW JACKET. Yellow Jacket (or YJ as his friends would later call him) didn't know he was Hank Pym, but Janet did, so when the brash YJ asked Janet to marry her, she happily agreed. After the wedding, the split personality stopped and Hank was back, aware of his career as Yellow Jacket and indeed happy to have married Janet. They left the Avengers soon afterwards, joining them on occasion as needed.

For the next few years Hank would make occasional appearances here and there. He would show up as ant-Man sometimes and Yellow Jacket the next. He joined the Defenders for a stint and found his way back to the Avengers. Ultron would brainwash him again and he reverted to Ant-Man before going back to YJ. Pym is forced off the Avengers because of government quotas soon after.

Nearing a second mental collapse, Pym nonetheless takes up the Yellow Jacket mantle again and returns to the Avengers. It's at this time that Pym's old enemy Egg Head begins to manipulate him in small ways. Hank becomes harsh and short tempered and while planning to trick his Avenger teammates into accepting him his wife attempts to reason with him. Hank slaps his wife. For this and his 'trick' he is expelled from the Avengers and Janet divorces him.

Broke and in disgrace, Pym's manipulation by Egghead grows larger. Pym is thought to be a villain and when he uncovers Egghead behind it all, his excuse is not believed as Egghead is dead (psst - he's faking). Believing that no one believes in him, Pym is alone to try and stop Egghead and his new Masters of Evil (which Hank does). As Egghead tries to kill Pym, Hank realizes he wasn't alone as Hawkeye stood by him and saved his life. Exonerated, his former allies don't know what to say. Hank decides it's better to just walk away.

Time goes by and Hank winds up at the new headquarters of the West Coast branch of the Avengers. Hawkeye talks Hank into being a scientific adviser which he accepts. In time he takes up an active Avenger role as DR. PYM. Now he basically grow/shrinks things instead of himself. He also begins a short-lived relationship with Tigra. Hank returns to the original team later on as GIANT-MAN again.

Time heals all wounds and Janet comes back into his life. Hank over the years had spent much time recovering from his darkest moment with Janet and she forgives him. The two begin anew.

Giant-Man finally takes care of some skeletons when he beats Ultron into submission and accepts that he's responsible for Ultron's evil.

Immortus pulls some strings as well as Kulan Gath and suddenly there are two Hank Pyms. Giant-Man, the logical considerate and Yellow Jacket the selfish confident one. The two soon realize that they both can't exist and integrated together as a fully healthy Henry Pym (you changes over to the YJ identity).

Hank and Janet continue their relationship when the Avengers disassemble because Tony Stark can't afford them anymore. Hank is kidnapped by the Skrulls soon afterwards while his double pretends to be him on Earth (and apparently dates Flamebird).

The real Hank makes it back top Earth in time to stop the Skrull invasion but not before his lover Jan dies.

Wanting to honor his ex-wife he creates the new heroic identity of the WASP and at Jarvis request, he leads the Avengers once more. Pym's Avengers become a shining star and the Avengers reclaim the love of the whole world. Throughout all this Pym unveils many new discoveries: the Infinite Avengers Mansion, Pym doors, tool-bots, dimensional wave inducer, humanizing his robot lover Jocasta (all in the goal of returning Janet back). Mentally Hank was almost at the top of his game, the last bit needed was a kick in the pants from the cosmic entity known as Eternity (who bestowed upon him the title Scientist Supreme).

Following the dissolution of his Avengers team, Hank has taken a roll at the new Avengers Academy.
