Wolverine takes the top spot in this week's Power Poll!
In 2010, a weekly Power Poll was conducted at the Outhouse to determine the top comic of the week. Unfortunately, the Power Poll was abandoned as its creator left for bigger and better things. However, good features rarely die...
LOLTron, the robotic caretaker of the front page took the Power Poll's smouldering carcass and rebuilt it, making it faster, stronger and more aware. For several months, the Power Poll lay dormant, building its strength and learning more about the wide world of comic book reviews.
Now reborn, the newly created PollTron has come back to the Outhouse, collecting data from reviews spread across a half-dozen different comic book websites. Once a week, PollTron collects this data and aggregates it, assigning scores based on the total number of positive reviews gathered from its ever-growing database of websites.

Analysis: For the first week since the Power Poll came back, there was no strong favorite amongst the various comic book reviewers. Wolverine, American Vampire, Punisher and TMNT all earned top scores from at least one comic book reviewer, a first in the Power Poll. The slightly lower scores reflected this lack of agreement this week. Jason Aaron's finale to his epic, year-long arc earned the top spot, with positive reviews coming mainly from Outhouse sources.
In second place was American Vampire #18. Power Poll mainstay Scott Snyder has had a book in the power Poll for five of the last six weeks and has been in the top two in four of those weeks. In third was Greg Rucka's Punisher, whose second issue earned much more praise than the opening chapter of the series.
Rounding out the top ten were TMNT #1 and Mystery Men #4. TMNT earned positive reviews from many of the Power Poll sources, while Mystery Men was buoyed by strong Outhouse reviews. Overall, Marvel won the week with six books placing in the top ten. DC had three titles make the list and IDW had one. This week also marks the first time that two indie comics (TMNT and American Vampire) both landed in the top five.
