First Look at Mike Allred's Daredevil #17 Reveals Shocking Truths About Comics Industry

Nepotism abounds at Marvel as both Mike and Laura Allred join Mark Waid for Daredevil #17!

Source: Press Release

Fans were extremely excited when they first learned that Eisner Award winning artist Mike Allred would be drawing an upcoming issue of Daredevil, but did they realize it would come with such a high moral price? Joining Allred on colorist duties for Daredevil #17 is Laura Allred, who the Outhouse can now exclusively reveal is actually Mike Allred's wife! Even more shocking, the Outhouse has learned that this is not the first time Laura Allred has worked with her husband. In fact, she has worked on such high-profile Mike Allred comics as iZombie, Madman, and X-Statix, and has even won multiple Eisner awards, which calls into question the credibility of the prestigious awards, San Diego Comic Con, and possibly Will Eisner himself.

The Outhouse reached out to Daredevil writer Mark Waid for comment on this shocking development, but he threatened to come to our house and beat us up, as if we had disparaged the name of Stephen Wacker. We then called Joe Quesada to tell on him, but Quesada just laughed and asked us if we were an idiot.

Yes, sir. Yes we are.

Here's the press release:
