Step Up Revolution hit theaters this weekend with an abysmal $11 million dollar opening, and The Dark Knight Rises trounced it easily, taking in $64 million dollars domestically to bring its total domestic gross up to $289 million. The $64 million take was a 60% drop from the movie's opening weekend. Worldwide, Dark Knight Rises took in $122 million for a total of $537 million, putting at #89 on the all-time worldwide box office gross chart. Its predecessor, The Dark Knight, is #12 on the chart with over $1 billion.
On another note, Bane's facemask looks like a robot's vagina. I'll leave you with that.
