Hugh Jackman confirmed that the new X-film has begun to shoot.
Hugh Jackman informed Twitter this morning that The Wolverine, the sequel to 2009's much beloved X-Men Origins: Wolverine has begun filming in Australia.
"Feel so pumped about this one……never felt so ready!!!!" Tweeted Jackman, who used over 16% of his tweet on punctuation. "Will keep y'all posted!!!"
The Wolverine will be set in Japan and will focus on the character's relationship with the Yashida crime family. Characters such as the Silver Samurai, Mariko and Viper are all set to appear in the film.
Jackman also mentioned that he had returned to the famed "Wolverine diet" that helped him to stay in shape during the grueling filming sessions with X-Men Origins: Wolverine co-stars Will.I.Am and Ryan Reynolds. The diet seems to consist mainly of asparagus and some sort of white meat, which appears to either be baby flesh or chicken. Check it out below and decide for yourself.
